Hello Retirees,
Thanks for telling us about the meetings in your area. This schedule lists all we know of now. More and more of you are holding meetings in local areas and all are encouraged to take part in these. If one is not being held near you --- START ONE ---, it's pretty easy. Pick out a place that's good to go to, send me its name and address and a date and time, and I'll spread the word. After a couple of times, you'll have a good group getting together there. These below are ones I know about now but I know there must be many others out there. Please let me know where and when and the contact name, phone # and email address and this list will grow.

CHANDLER - PEORIA - TEMPE -- Brothers Family Restaurant. Rusty Widget Wednesday! Please note the change in location! First Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM. Meet us at Brothers Family Restaurant, 8466 West Peoria Avenue, Peoria AZ (take the Peoria Ave. exit off the 101, located on Peoria Ave. between N 85th Ave & N 84th Ave). Look for us in their group room. Home made cooking and good coffee at very reasonable prices. Please join us old-timers for coffee and socializing! The DBCs (Delta Breakfast Clubbers) meet every week, every Monday at 10:00 A.M. at Denney's on Rural and Hwy 60 in Tempe, and every Friday at 0930 at Hoosiers Cafe on Warner Road (SW corner Warner & Arizona Ave.) in Chandler. That is every week, every Monday, every Friday....we don't take holidays off even! Call if you're going to be in town. All welcome!

AMELIA ISLAND -- Parkway Grille. The Fernandina Beach/ Amelia Island, FL. ROMEO'S meets the 1st Tuesday of the month at the Parkway Grille at 09:00. However, the city has changed the mailing address from 4111 Gerbing Rd. to - 5517 S. Fletcher. Everything else remains the same. This breakfast is for retired and active pilots. FAYETTEVILLE -- Towne Club. We have moved our meeting place from IHOP to Towne Club located at 201 Crosstown Drive in Peachtree City. This is a lovely place and they have given us a good deal. The date and time will remain the same which is the second Wednesday of the odd months at 11.30 A.M. The directions are to take Peachtree Parkway from Hwy 54 going South to the second stop sign. FAYETTEVILLE -- Broadway Diner. The Thursday morning gang are changing from Mike & C's to the Broadway Diner in Fayetteville. It is located at 535 S.Glynn Street. FAYETTEVILLE -- Joe Ivey's Home. Once a month we have a get together at my house and I serve a light meal and after the meal we get in a circle and share something about ourselves. Then we read a portion of the Bible and discuss for a short time what it says. I try not to preach or teach but to have our guests discover what is meant by what we have read. The Bible is so relevant to our daily living. Ladies are invited too. These meeting are in the evening and we meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 P.M. Any one coming over on the ferry from Whidbey Island as a walk on will be gladly picked up at the US Bank ATM Next to the ferry dock. Just call me at 360 531-1515 and someone will meet you there as the ferry docks and return you to PT after the luncheon. For those who wish to fly in you can park your aircraft in front of the Spruce Goose.
